VENT

"Heath Eric is a true entertainer in every sense of the word. His superior vocals, whimsical lyrics, and gripping stage presence warm up any crowd.

Heath's performance at a recent event transformed our venue from the ordinary into a compelling musical affair. Drawing energy directly from his audience, Heath knows when to give it his all and when to pull back and let the song speak for itself.

We can't wait to have him back to our Campus to perform his upbeat feel-good folk tunes again!"

Eric's strong debut connects with listener

"When you pop a new CD into your stereo, you may expect a lot of things. You may want to laugh or want to cry. You may be ready to rock or to just chill out. Rarely do you put on a new record and come away with a new friend. But that's just the way a listener feels after a spin of folk artist Heath Eric's Finally Gettin' It, out now on Rumsey Records..." Heath Eric has been selected for artistic excellence to participate in the Performing Arts Directory, a program of the Kentucky Arts Council, the state arts agency, which is supported by state tax dollars and federal funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.

Heath brings a whole new meaning to the term "folk music!"  He renditions of other artist's songs are unreal and his original works are quite soothing and inspirational!  Heath is an exceptional entertainer and we were quite fortunate to feature Heath at our most recent "Concert for Cans" at Kentucky Wesleyan College.  He was quite successful in keeping the attention of every student in the audience.

I was extremely pleased with the event. Your music was awesome!! I am confident this was the best picnic we ever had.

I will recommend you every chance I get.

Thanks again!

When Heath took stage and we realized how good he and his band really were, we wished it was a bigger event! I think alot of kids our age would really like his music.  He plays what he calls "folk" music with a little touch of their own flavor.  Its the kind of chill music that college kids are starting to embrace.  Molly had an amazing voice as well and the guy on the fiddle was crazy good.  We all had a great time and would love to have him back for something even bigger! Thanks man!

NEW LIFE, NEW SONG

"It takes a lot of guts to say goodbye to a high-octane career and open a small business. But that's exactly what Heath Eric has done.
...Eric has been playing music since he was 6 years old, eventually leading him to work in entertainment at Executive Inn. That enabled him to make connections and forge friendships with national and international talent.
...Eric hopes to have his folk album ready for release in the next few months. Then he plans to travel the spring and summer months with his sons, Turner, and Jaxon, to promote his music."

McLean Musician Builds Rumsey Records Studio

"'Life's too short to not do what you love.'
That simple statement sums up how Heath Eric feels about his life right now.
Eric, a McLean Count native, recently followed a lifelong dream... He opened a studio called Rumsey Records...and began work on a CD of original folk music..."
